Bible Verse:“Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.”— Joshua 1:6 KJV
Definition:Strong means able to withstand great force or pressure.
Application:In the book of Joshua, God commanded Joshua to be strong and courageous as he led the Israelites into the promised land. Later, Jesus would remind Peter to strengthen his brothers, but only after he himself was strengthened. This call to strength is not just physical, but spiritual and emotional as well.
Today, we echo that same call: be strong. Life can present storms—both internal and external—that challenge our faith and resolve. Yet, we are reminded that we don’t face these challenges alone. God is with us, giving us the strength to stand firm in any circumstance.
Reflection:No matter the pressures or challenges you face today, remember that you are equipped with the strength God provides. Stand firm in your faith, knowing that He is with you every step of the way. Let His strength empower you to remain strong, courageous, and unshaken in all things.
